Ra-zone Tattoo was established in November 2014 by Rajan Maharjan, who previously worked at the studio 7Mag N’ Ink as a partner. However he decided to start his own instead, making Ra-zone Tattoo his first solo project. The studio is located Jyatha, Thamel in Kathmandu, only 10 minutes walking distance from Garden of Dreams.

Customer satisfaction has been the highest priority during the existence of the studio, ensuring the customer’s wishes and expectations are heard and met to the best of ability from the artist. However, in order to ensure the best end result the artist will also make suggestions on the choice of tattoo, the style, the placement etc., and offer guidance if the customer seeks professional advice. Safety and hygiene is the single most important aspect of tattooing, which is why all the tattoo equipments are single use only. Before starting the tattoo, all the gear (tattoo machine, cables, chair, table, lamp etc.) will be sterilized and covered in clear plastic.

We strive to make sure that every customer has a great experience from beginning to end with our relaxed, casual and friendly atmosphere. We ensure this by having artists who fully speak and understand English so that the customer feels safe that their wishes and worries are being heard. The studio is a non-smoking zone, however it is allowed on the balcony. The artists of the studio can always reject a customer if he/she is under the influence of any intoxication.
