Nepalese cuisine refers to the food eaten in Nepal. Nevertheless dal-bhat-tarkari is eaten throughout the every nepali home with vegetable curry and tarkari like saag(spinach), Gundruk(fragmented dried spinach). Condiments are usually small amounts of extremely spicy chutney or achar (pickle) which can be fresh or fermented etc. The variety of these is staggering, said to number in the thousands. Other accompaniments may be sliced lemon or lime with fresh green chili and the most traditional food of Nepalese is a Dhindo”.

To preserve the art and culture of the group, Gokarna House Restaurant organizes the live demonstration of pottery work in the afternoon. Guest who are interested to experience the actual art of pottery making are most welcome to participate!
